Experience
An urban planner with more than 35 years of experience, Luc Gagnon has worked mainly in Montréal’s municipal sector, where he has acquired extensive experience in municipal management, planning, urban design and mobility. He is now an urban planning and mobility consultant and acts as an advisor to the Secretary General of the Organization of World Heritage Cities.
His previous positions include Director of the Department of Land Use Development, Director of the Department of Urban Planning and Mobility, and Director of the Sud-Ouest borough. He has also served as a Ville de Montréal observer on the boards of BIXI, Jalon Mtl and Accesum Inc. (a limited partnership of Société en commandite Stationnement de Montréal).
Community engagement
- Participation in numerous missions to Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East as a speaker and trainer.
