Catherine Morency is a leading transportation authority who has devoted her entire career to teaching and research.

Since 2010, she has held the Mobility Research Chair, focusing on implementation of sustainable transportation. Since 2016, she has also held the Canada Research Chair in the Mobility of People, whose research program focuses on interactions between transportation modes and the relationships of complementarity, competitiveness and substitution that they involve.

During her career, she has published a large number of articles on this subject, many of which have won awards of excellence.
